Whatcha doing?
April 27th, started off like any other day. The sun was shinning, the dogs where playing, and Keith and I were deciding what to do for the weekend. But this was not just an ordinary day. This was the day we found out we will be adding another Cherry to our family in December. :D Very exciting! When I told my Mom she jumped up and down, screaming as if she had just won the lottery.
Now to tell the rest of the world I wanted to do it in a curious way :) So I made my self a chalk board! Everyone loves chalk boards right??? Now this chalk board is special, it folds up and fits snuggly in my suitcase for my future travels ( I will be traveling a bit during my pregnancy. ) I don't have much time to put up the tutorial for it today because I am packing but I promise it will be up one of these days.
Anyways here it is:
Cute right?
How far along? 6 weeks
Maternity clothes? Far from it, but because I am packing up my house I only packed my suitcase with clothes I thought would expand with me over the next few months.
Stretch marks? Nope! I really hope I don't get those.
Sleep? I have been pretty stressed with moving and pregnancy so sleeping has been pretty lousy.
Best moment last week? Telling everyone I was pregnant :)
Movement? Nope it's a pit to early for that.
Food cravings? I don't really have constant cravings yet but last week I could not stop thinking about a big juicy burger, which I had today :D It was delicious.
Belly button in/out? In
What I miss: Drinking, I had just started drinking wine before I got pregnant and I was really starting to like tasting the different flavors. I also miss sushi.
What I am looking forward to: Going to Texas in a couple weeks :)
Things I learned: People always talk about morning sickness as a major symptom of pregnancy during the first trimester but as I have not really had morning sickness just slight nausea. What I had never heard as a symptom was sore boobs, and I am not talking about PMS soreness. I am talking I can't even wear a bra properly without it hurting. Another thing I learned was that having to pee every while starts now and not when there is baby playing the bongs on your bladder.
Well I must stop rambling so that I can finishing packing up! Cheers!
Love it!!! The picture is super cute!!! Is that a due date I see on the calendar?? Heard cocoa butter was good for stretch marks (for after baby comes).
ReplyDeleteAnd yea I thought about how the drinking thing does kinda suck cause we were supposed to celebrate hanging out again, but net time. Congrats mom!!
Yeah I have some cocoa butter already that I am going to start using, I have read that you have to keep your skin moist to help prevent stretch marks. We will drink the next time around! :)
ReplyDeleteLove love love this.... I'm so excited to follow your amazing journey and send him/her a wonderful little care package lmao.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome!! :) why are you moving? About the stretch marks...I didn't get ANY!! You are correct in saying that you must maintain your skin moist and try not to gain weight to quickly. Like keep exercising and don't overdo it with eating. (But I also think it may be a family gene thing because neither my mom nor sisters have stretch marks)I didn't have "morning sickness" but I had a lot of nausea and I just felt sick. LOL I also felt like eating burgers a lot and I usually don't eat too much red meat. I think the reason I had to pee so much was because I started drinking a lot more water so just had to pee a lot. Sorry went on forever but I'm really happy to hear about your pregnancy journey :D
